你们好。We really need to figure out what we need to do and what we want to do for this skit. First things first, we need to assign roles. Then, we need to figure out some kind of story line. From there, it's just the matter of putting a coherent script together while still keeping it fun for everyone to watch. Leave any notes or ideas you want on here. For our skit, I was thinking that it could be my first day as a waiter. I could continue to bring the wrong dishes out and act disrespectful. At the end when the bill comes, you both realize that you forgot your money at home. I know that this isn't much at the moment, but it's something to possibly get us started with our skit. This is great! Here's a progression of some potential events:
When we arrive at the restaurant, no tables are available. Perhaps we hold up a “One Hour Later" sign to show how much time has passed before we are seated.
Once we are seated, we let Alexis know that we are vegetarians. She shrugs it off and we order dumplings, soup, and rice. We order tea to drink, and she mistakenly thinks we order hot tea when we actually meant iced tea. We make her go back and get different drinks.
When she comes out with the soup, we complain that the temperature and heat level is too much. She reminds us that we ordered spicy soup, and we get annoyed, saying that it's her fault.
When the dumplings finally arrive, they turn out to be beef dumplings and we freak out because we told her that we were vegetarians. She apologizes and brings out new plates.
We are finally satisfied and are ready to pay the bill when we realize that both of us thought that the other was treating them to the meal and in turn did not bring money. The tables are turned and the skit ends in immense awkwardness.
How do these ideas sound? I think we could have a lot of fun with this, and I can handle props and costumes and perhaps even some real food (not a lot, but some)!--科梅娣 （Madison）
I'm going to start drafting a little bit! Don't be afraid to comment. Maybe so we can keep track of everyone's work we can all type in a different style (i.e. I'll do regular, Alexis can do bold, and Haroon can do italics). If it gets too hard to do with the Chinese, we can just do regular type! Also, be ye warned: my grammar is terrible. Do not hesitate to correct me. I'm basing a lot of this on logic and not necessarily the actual form.
